Scott's Lawn Service said they fertilized my lawn on May 06, 2010. The lawn still looks sickly and is actually dying in areas due to poor nutrition. I also suspect a fungus or some sort..".I sent a notice to them in mid-may and then a technician, finally called me back on 05/27/2010 and said they would get out there right away/. However, to date, no one has showed up?. We continually water the lawn, however, since the nutrition is bad the lawn can't recover;. My neighbors haven't done anything to their lawns and mine looks the same:. I spend a great deal of money with Scott's and last year my lawn looked beautiful". This year they have fallen short:. It appears they've raised their prices while reducing their quality/. Dangerous decision in this economy... 1292ec9

This is our second year with Scott's. We have done everything they have recommended and watered as their instructions. Not only did it get worse since they have started two years ago, their customer service is possible the most frustrating thing in the world. When called they just recommend another treatment, all the while taking your money and leaving you with a dead lawn and weeds every where. Not only did we call them and tell them several times, they did two complementary treatments and told us we would notice the difference in a week's time. Funny, it's been over a month and there are even more weeds. The difference we noticed was that all the hostas and hydrangeas died! We have been trying to call since they supposedly did another treatment in our cycle-that was canceled-left a bill. The bill was not only for what they say they did but also for the two other treatments. They are nothing but a waste of money and I am putting a huge sign on my lawn that states that Scott's was taking care of it and this is what will happen if you waste your money on them.

people think that lawn care is like fast food you always get what you ask for but it has to be poof and there it is no one has patience anymore try looking up intergrated pets management on your web browser and see what that has too say about lawn service expectations.

I had grwon impatient with a lack of results from Scotts. The local Manager paid me a visit and ask me to give it two years. I did this and water per the directions. Wow two years later it looks great. Also, I was cutting the grass too low. I raised my mower and gave the plan two years and what a difference it made. I should have know better about the cutting height. Only problem now is the grub issue. Hopefully that will not return because the armadillos like to dig up my yard when they are present. I am scheduled to start treating the grubs on time this year.

I have had excellent results with Scotts. I was a DYI guy & used their products for years buying at Home Depot. Took a few things off of my to do list last year and ordered their services. I ordered the complete care plan. I think it is 7 applications. Had a small area with some weeds and they quickly responded to my call. Actually within 4 hours. I am looking forward to another summer without having to do it myself. Maybe ask them for a different service technician would help?

I HAVE TO ADMIT I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE SERVICE FROM SCOTT'S IN THE LAST 2 YEARS. THEY SPAYED THE WEEDS A WEEK AGO AND IT IS WORSE THAN EVER THIS WEEK. I FOLLOW THEIR WATERING DIRECTIONS TO THE TEE AND I HAVE INCREASED WEEDS, MOLD AND BROWN SPOTS WORSE THAN EVER THIS YEAR. I SPEND A FORTUNE BETWEEN THEIR LAWN SERVICE AND THE TREE SERVICE. I HAVE ALSO NOTICED THAT WHEN THEY SEED THEY SEED WITH DIFFERENT GRASSES AND I NOW HAVE SEVERAL TYPES OF GRASS ON MY LAWN-IT LOOKS LIKE A PATCHWORK QUILT-I AM LOOKING ELSEWHERE FOR NEXT SEASON

I too contracted with Scott's and my lawn is in it's worse shape ever. I was essentially ignored by the local franchise until I sent a letter of cancellation, by then it was too late. Similarly, the home office was not too concerned about my problem or canceling the service. They should stick with what they do best, making first-rate fertilizers and garden products. They should not be in the lawn service business, it will only damage their fine reputation.
